I visited my daughter over the weekend – she works at Javelin Barracks, formerly RAF Bruggen. She took this photo of me outside the RAF Police Club. As you can see, it is in a state of disrepair, but the old signs are still clearly visible (OC Sy Sqn adjacent to the front door). A spin around the ring road revealed the old SSA and QRA completely overgrown and deserted. I was one of the first young officers on shift at RAF Bruggen in 79/80 and have many memories of my time there.
