Photographs of RAF Police Flights

It has been suggested by a couple of members that perhaps if old photographs were shown on the site, maybe a few memories will be jogged. I am perfectly willing to do this but there are conditions. If you can scan them yourself and then email them to me, then fine, but they must be in jpeg format and no bigger than 100Kb if possible (although I can sometimes reduce them if they are twice this size).

If you don't have access to a scanner then you can post them to me (address in the Directory) BUT I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in the post AND I will require postage and an envelope to return them to you. Obviously all details about the picture as well as your details will be required whichever way you chose to send them.

Following on from the other two of Aden, here is the third one showing Me (sitting) and Mark Appleyard at the Federal Army Barracks.

Seeing the photographs of Aden from Ron Cunningham reminded me that in the attic I had a number of slides featuring the famous 222, Flood!!! strike breaking escorts and that gate/fence depicted in those photo's.

I recently found some old slides of Aden and had them printed.  I attach two, one of the Shift I belonged to and sad to say I am at a loss regarding names.  They were all my friends and I would appreciate some help in identifying them.  The officer in charge was a Fg Off White.  I recall he spent most of the tour with his leg in plaster.  The second is a photo of the Aden Airways viscount being blown up. It happened on shift change and I have a few more photos taken within two or three seconds after the blast but I've mislaid them. A moment in history some may find interesting.
