Coach : 34 seat extra leg room coach with toilet and drinks facilities

Ferry : Outward : 09.00 Portsmouth to Cherbourg – fast craft arrives 13.00 - French time

Inward : 17.00 Cherbourg to Portsmouth – fast craft arrives 19.00 - British time.

Hotel : Hotel de France, Caen

Price to include :

• Coach hire
• Return ferry fare
• 2 Nights dinner, bed & breakfast in twin/double en-suite rooms

Price per person:

* 28 passengers = £200

* 30 passengers = £193

* 32 passengers = £189

* 34 passengers = £185

Single room supplement = £43.50

A deposit of £50 pp is required by 11th February 2012, cheques to be made payable to H.D. & I.O.W. Branch

Payment :

Brittany Ferries will hold the option until the 19^th January.

We therefore require the following payments.

FIRST DEPOSIT £300 - by the 18^th February

SECOND DEPOSIT £500 - by the 9^th March

FINAL ROOMING LIST - by the 2^nd April

BALANCE PAYMENT - by the 16^th April

ITINERARY

This will depend upon whether you want a tourist Normandy or a tour based on the D.Day landing. May I suggest a compromise as follows :

MONDAY
13.00 : Arrive Cherbourg – Travel to Ste Mere Eglise for short visit.

Continue to Bayeux – optional visit to Cathedral, Tapestry or Battle of Normandy Museum

Continue to Hotel – dinner, bed & breakfast

TUESDAY

Pegasus Bridge, Madame Gondree’s Café, Ranville Cemetery, Cabourg, Deauville to Honfluer.

Return via Pont L’Eveque ( Possible visit to Calvados producer fro tour and tasting £3 per person to be added to tour cost)

WEDNESDAY

Follow the “Invasion Coast” from Ouistreham to Arromanches

Free time for lunch and optional visit to the Musee Du Debarquement ( If you want to include it add £5.30 per person)

Continue along the coast and on to Cherbourg – Hypermarket visit and then to the ferry
