I am running the London Marathon in April 2005 on behalf of Childline.
To enable me to run, I have to raise a minimum of 1500 pounds.
I am seeking funds both big and small to raise this total and hopefully beyond. Apart from the on and off base fund raising activities I hopefully will get off the ground, I am also canvasing various RAFP and Police sites to offer the option to donate online.
After six days the total is £141.92, (a sum that has been only donated by 8 people.)
On that page is the faciliy to donate or pledge any amount, and additionally for every 1 pound donated, an extra 28p is donated free from the government.
