1950 finished my Provo course in Pershore had a visit from Ft Lt. Cooper who wanted 14 volunteers for the first permanent dog demo teams and we VOLUNTEERED? My dog was PATROL the brother of PATHFINDER, Dog School mascot after the white dog died, one of Col. Baldwin's breed. Spent a year on the team until Cooper had a disagreement with the Provost Marshall.

The two teams were posted overseas Middle East, Malaya, Hong Kong I went to Hong Kong for my two years plus -came back to Neverhaven went back on the Demo Team and handled SHANDY as it's handler was getting demobbed. Trained other handlers during the winter of '53 and finished up a security for the Duke of Edinburgh when he was learning to two engine aircraft Left Air Force in '54 married a QARANC nurse moved to Canada and then the States in 1960 and have lived in Florida ever since.
