First photo shows Marty Uden, Derek Jenkins and myself being the only RAFPA representatives at the NATIONAL ARMED FORCES DAY in CHATHAM, Kent.

Both Marty and I marched from Fort Amhurst in brilliant sunshine behind the

Regular Forces detachments, Navy, Army and RAF led by the Band of HM Royal Marines .

About 250 Veterans paraded behind with about 30 Standards from the RBL etc., and were cheered

all the way along Dock Road into the Royal Dockyard, where the salute was taken by

the Duke of Gloucester, representing HM The Queen. Also present was the Lord Lieutenant of

Kent; , Sarah and Gordon Brown: , and the Chief of Air Staff. There then followed a Drumhead

Service.
