The RAF Police Bruggen Reunion planned for June 2012 has been cancelled. Unfortunately the response has been seriously lacking. To prevent any further financial loss on my part and to allow anyone who has already booked accommodation to cancel it without suffering any loss I have had to call it a day.

Ladies and Gentlemen. As you are probably aware by now I am organising a RAF Police, Bruggen, reunion for the 9th June 2012. The original cost per person was set at £55.00. However, in light of the current economic climate I have been back to the venue and re-negotiated the menu and costs. The good news is that I have managed to get the costs down from £55.00 to £42.00 per person. This price is based on a minimum attendance of 100 people. The function will be held at Jocasta’s in Lincoln. The menu for the evening will be a four course meal which will include a soup starter, Chicken Main Course with a seasonal sweet followed by tea and coffee. There will also be a disco to play all the tunes from the various decades to bring the memories flooding back from your Bruggen days. This reunion is not a stag event. Partners are included and are more than welcome to attend. ,
I have personally paid a non-refundable deposit of £600.00 to secure the venue. However, what I need now is for you to show commitment to attending by sending a deposit of £25.00 per person by the end of November 2011. Methods of payments are detailed below. If people do not commit and send their deposit by this date I will have no other option but to cancel the event. This is a step I would prefer not to take.

All of this accommodation is within 2 - 3 miles of the venue. I would suggest booking early because there are several wedding receptions planned in the area for the same day. I know some people have booked their accommodation but are yet to pay their deposit. I hope as many of you as possible can make it.
I have given plenty of notice for the reunion to allow people to budget in preparation for the function. The venue has been secured and all we need to do now is get enough people there and have a good night. For those who want make a weekend of it there will be an informal get together at the Pride of Lincoln on the Friday evening prior to the main event of on Saturday the 9th June 2012.
